Wax Melts
The Wheelhouse has been going wax melt crazy and we are now ready to add them to our store shelves.
Many candle enthusiasts have already discovered the ease and magic of wax melts as a nice alternative to a lit flame in the room. Wax melts have several advantages, we’ve found.
No flame: The wax bar is melted in a small bowl using an electric source of heat, usually a light bulb or a coil inside the melter.
Fragrance: The fragrance, or scent throw, can be more pronounced with a melter than a typical candle. While those who like a less intense smell can limit the number of wax segments they add to the melter’s bowl.
Variety: Once you turn off the melter, the wax in the bowl will harden and can then be removed and replaced with a different fragranced wax. And the previous wax can be saved in a baggie to help preserve the original scent and reused again and again.
We are focusing on unscented beeswax to ensure a naturally more subtle and sweet fragrance. But you can add a fragrance oil to the melted wax to make your own perfect scent if you prefer.
